2012 in review

Although, I clearly slacked off at the end of the year, it looks like I kept fairly busy.  The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

4,329 films were submitted to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This blog had 21,000 views in 2012. If each view were a film, this blog would power 5 Film Festivals

About birds n' bugs

Retired, living in SW Florida and spending my time at nature photography in my local area. I volunteer with a couple of local organizations to help my adopted home town. Travelling is now by airplane and car instead of a sailboat but happy anyway.

    Happy New Year, I enjoy your images from the History Park, well all of them, but the History Park really interests me as I have spent quite some time there myself. Could you please tell me who is occupying the nest this year, the eagle family or owl family?

      It is the Great Horned Owl pair. They have mated and she is brooding on the nest. Last year they had a pair of owlets. We look forward to this year.
