Great Horned Owls at the Punta Gorda History Park

Just a few shots of the Great Horned Owls which have taken over the eagles nest next to the History Park.  The babies are getting bigger and should be becoming more active over the next couple of weeks.  Once that happens, we should see them moving about more in the nest tree.  But, here are Mommy, Daddy and a few shots of the kids.  As usual, you can click on any individual picture to see  a larger version.

About birds n' bugs

Retired, living in SW Florida and spending my time at nature photography in my local area. I volunteer with a couple of local organizations to help my adopted home town. Travelling is now by airplane and car instead of a sailboat but happy anyway.
